We're gonna have to look at that fucking eye for 8 episodes, huh?

Percy is back in season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians and so are all of his friends who totally have names and we remember all of them but we don't have time to list them right now.

In the movies, Sea of Monsters is where everything fell apart for this franchise... but will this series break the curse? We're praying to the gods!

In the books mist is like a universal force made by Hecate that just sorta exists, and some OP demigods can control it. The movies thought that would be too complicated so made it into a god damn spray can. And in the movies they cut the theme park chapter from the first movie then realised "oh we needed context from that for the next book" so just wrote it into the second movie. The entire ending of the second movie basically skips to the last book's finale too, because they knew they weren't getting another movie made after how much they phoned in/messed up the first two.

I'm not gonna be pissed at you for hating Tyson, but I'm just warning you he's kinda very present this season. (he's also the entire fanbase's baby bc mentally he's much younger than he looks) Personally I love him, but I also know him from the books the most. I imagine it's different only knowing his character from the movie.

Definitely get ready for this season to be even more different than the movie since the second movie was wildly inaccurate to the book haha somehow even more inaccurate than the first one. Also, Percy and Annabeth aren't dating yet at this point but the tension between them has definitely increased since last season

In the movie they say have spray mist. But mist a natural thing that disguises all supernatural things, so no one can see Tyson’s one eye. The movie just fucked it up by making it a spray for some reason.

I think the one eye looked better in the movies. But I think that might just be me. Also I think humans see him with two eyes and not one. Like how in the last season only the demigods saw the monsters and humans didn't

idk if y'all missed it but a big thing happened with Tyson when they were discovered by Tantalus (tree scene) !! this was hilarious though, looking forward to the next one!

lmao the tyson hate is even funnier because they were trying to make him sympathetic in the scene where they were going to sleep. fuckin rude-ass show trying to tell a story while we're in the middle of a bit. get it together, disney

to go off of what you guys said at the end with authors and their adaptations, i've noticed that just in these first two episodes there have been a lot of changes from the book. in the book the giants attacked tyson and percy at school in a dodgeball game, and the metal bulls were what they found attacking camp like in the second movie.

So far this season is doing an amazing job in its extremely simple task of "Be better than the Sea of Monsters movie." And even improves on the book in some ways, like forgetting any attempt at making it a mystery that Luke was the one who poisoned the tree, which is about as obvious as Vecna being Mr. Whatsit.
