Hey Duffer 1! Yeah Duffer 2?

It's been three years and two Bonsignore babies since the end of season 4, and now the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is here to either blow our minds or make us wonder why we did this for a whole decade.

Here's hoping for the best season yet, otherwise it's all Upside Downhill from here...

I really am so annoyed at the holly stuff. Like it’s not necessarily bad but it’s way too boring to be taking up so much of the final season. I really am shocked at how little time we have spent with the original characters. Also they spent so much time establishing that the wheelers are not a close family so I don’t even feel bad for them cause I don’t believe they give a fuck about that girl. Like I’m truly blown away that the duffers thought this was a worth while idea

Also just to give a refresher from that season 2 episode nobody watched: Kali’s powers are different from El’s. El has the basic telekinetic stuff, but Kali can create visions. That’s why eleven never did the vision stuff, and why Kali didn’t help with telekinetic stuff in this episode. It’s kind of an underdeveloped thing since the duffers never looked into any of the other kids having different powers, but it’s also kinda cool how it seems like Vecna can do both.

What i've noticed is the younger cast are mostly only good at delivering lines within a certain context. I've noticed most of them seem to struggle with regular conversation (think Noah's "you're welcome" to Maya Hawk). Millie, Noah and Caleb particularly struggle with regular conversation type dialogue. For some reason, they all NAIL it whenever they have to cry/scream. I wonder why that is. Gaten and Finn seem to be pretty good across the board, it's rare for them to say a line and have me thinking "you couldn't get another take duffers?". But for the other three im constantly thinking hmmm that wasnt great delivery. Idk, just something to think about haha.

I watched this on my laptop with netflix on the tv and my mum came in and sat down to watch (she has absolutely zero context for stranger things) and it was the part where jonathan and nancy are having a heart to heart and you two are just yammering on about the goop room, i had to bite my cheeks to stop myself laughing lmao

What kills me the most about the ending Max/Holly scene is you can so clearly tell they’re just actors with red lights on their faces on green screen, there is ZEROOOO atmosphere in that entire 5 min scene it’s ridiculous

The fact that Miles was mentioning the producer really wanting so much sludge, it's actually accurate because according to the documentary they released, this one guy was just really wanted sludge. He even said it was not sludge enough and was too watery.

watching this in hindsight is so funny. I love how Eric is (perfectly might i add) trying to hide that he knows what's in the suitcase cause of the play. this is how i re-watch shows i've already seen with friends too 😂

Thank you for making me laugh through the scene that made me irrationally angry and bawl the first time watching. I'm a huge Nancy and Johnathan fan, so I couldn't focus on the rest of the series after their "breakup" scene. It was so annoying. The actors are dating in real life, and their stunt doubles are married for crying out loud! Why not let them work through their issues and be together? UGH, this show.
