We're gonna have to look at that fucking eye for 8 episodes, huh?

Percy is back in season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians and so are all of his friends who totally have names and we remember all of them but we don't have time to list them right now.

In the movies, Sea of Monsters is where everything fell apart for this franchise... but will this series break the curse? We're praying to the gods!

And no, Percy didn't actually fight Kronos in the book either; that was just added for the movie. Which is really weird, because if the movies had continued past that point, they would be completely screwed in portraying Kronos as any kind of serious threat after we already saw Percy cleanly beat him. It actually kind of feels like they'd accepted this was it for the movies and were trying to give some closure...except then they also do the same cliffhanger ending of Thalia being brought back and no one knowing whose side she's on. I'm just glad we now have a chance to see the other books onscreen, especially after this season clearly learned a lot of lessons from how the first was received.

kai

by cameron do y’all mean cameron silas?

I dont think that was Frederick Douglass in the background. But it did remind me that in the books Harriet Tubman was canonically a demigod daughter of Hermes, so Luke's half sister

You're right about everyone pronouncing Thalia wrong, I'm p sure all the fans say it like Talia

Glaceontail

I do believe it is pronounced Thal-ya or Thal-ee-ya, because the greek pronunciation (cuz they are children of Greek gods) pronounces the TH. This has been an ongoing debate amongst Percy Jackson fans for years, but if you want to be the most correct you pronounce the TH, It's also how the author says it.
