Constantin Film heads RISE UP

Resident Evil is not only one of the best video game franchises of all time, it's also one of the worst movie series of all time. I don't recall if I had ever seen the first movie. Maybe as a kid? But I certainly never watched the rest of them, so I brought in Jake & Mike to hold my hand on this journey through some of the absolute most dogshit movies I have ever seen, as well as a 2021 reboot that's... fine, in anticipation of an upcoming second reboot from Zach Cregger! Third time's the charm, right?!

Also seriously what the fuck was going on with Milla Jovovich's face in that one movie???

Okay, I haven’t watched this yet, so here are my top five predictions of scenes that I believe will appear in this movie. 1. An ultra-sexy orgy scene between 99 Alice clones, and an incredibly handsome, muscular man named Carl W.S Henderson (who is also a very generous lover). 2. Claire Redfield falls down a hole and reappears two films later covered in dirt and wearing a bandana. 3. The gang enters an abandoned bingo hall, and a man in a leather jacket appears behind them. But before he can introduce himself, he is shot dead by everyone present. The gang agrees that this was for the best and they all high-five. 4. We meet Mr. X, and after Alice kills him with a super cool kick to the groin, we realize (through a long flashback) that he used to be a janitor at the Umbrella Corporation, and that we saw him in the background once. 5. A post-credit scene where Albert Wesker takes a shower (sunglasses on). In the middle of shampooing, he hears a noise. He picks up his gun, which he apparently has somewhere in the shower, and with it at the ready, he pulls open the shower curtain. Suddenly he smiles and lowers his weapon, and with a beckoning nod he says: Chris, this way.

My favorite thing about seeing Wesker on screen is that Antony Starr (Homelander) has jokingly mentioned, more than once, that he'd like to play Wesker

I've only ever seen the first solo, 2nd movie has gotta be the best tbh((so far) god help me) 3&4 were crazy rough (4 worse imo) and everytime I'm like "wtf why" but if they're profitable...fuck it

I can picture it now. Your debut film. a love letter to this franchise. "Resident Evil: Oh Fuck, Help." You clearly don't need a big budget to make one of these and your Wesker and Chris are already in the room with you! Plus Jillian as....Jill! Writes itself really, Eric. Just do it......... Also, this was the first rated R movie I saw. Saw it at a friend's house as a kid and it's what got me into the RE games lol
