Let's wrap this shit up.

While Gen V is getting better and better, The Boys feels like it's overstayed it's welcome. Just a bit though! We're still on board! But we are glad it's finally ending because it does feel like it's going in circles...

Will they have the balls to kill off any main characters? Will Homelander win or lose?? And will Matt Rife have the last laugh???

Dude you have no idea how excited I was watching this episode. I was worried the Boys was gonna get the Stranger Things treatment where nothing happened but this episode immediately alleviated my fears. A-Train was written perfectly

Enjoyed the episode overall but that cut from the Homelander and Hughie scene to the A-Train in France with his brother was off. You missed that Starlight mentioned that the Gen V kids are in Pittsburgh doing their own thing helping Starlight's cause.

yeah the whole kimiko talking thing feels so off to me and i don't know why. like even though i'm sure it's the actress's real voice, it sounds like ai to me whenever she speaks.

Whatttt this was such a good ep! The Boys has definitely always had the issue of cutting to B and C plots constantly (I recently did a rewatch). I'm just watching for the A plot and Antony Stars acting lmao. The highs were so high in this episode! Also, does anyone actually care about the Gen V characters? Season 1 was fine, but I never got around to season 2. That show didn't pull high numbers in terms of viewership either. Especially season 2. Viewership was around 55% lower than recent Boys seasons. Super keen for Invincible btw! I'm not watching it until the tracks come out!!

Oh and yeah Kimiko talking is NOT it. The actress is doing WAY too much. One of the few times I've ever cringed at this show in a bad way. Why did they give her Hitgirl dialogue? She's like 35...

Seeing Kimiko speak is so fuuucking weeeird. It's so unusual, to me it genuinely looks like Karen Fukuhara has been dubbed over or something. Super weird choice by the writers for sure

I’m really excited for Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki but this shows kind of lost its luster for me, idk it might just be me but I don’t give a shit abt any of these characters anymore like not even homelander. I really need more character development for me to get Johnny kapahala back on board

Great reaction! I definitely enjoyed this episode more than y'all but i honestly can't disagree with any of your critiques. This show is so messy and i mostly remember the last 15 min of this episode. I have a silly question for eric tho, which amazon superhero show do you prefer: the boys or invincible? can't wait for the next episode!

This is so disappointing! Especially after Gen V being so exciting and brilliant! The editing here was so fucking strange, I would've expected them to do so much better. Hopefully the season will get better so we can actually enjoy it. As long as we get to see Emma, I'll be okay

idk if anyone has mentioned it yet, but at the end of your Gen V season 2 YouTube video, you showed that one scene with Starlight where she's like, "yall gotta meet the boys," and lizzie's like "we've got our own thing going tho... but it would be fun to merge"....... pretty sure this is both the Boys s5 & the last season of Gen V.

This was an overall disappointing final season premiere. Kimiko talking feels so weird. It's too cutesy. RIP A Train Although I wish his death was in a better episode.
