Let's wrap this shit up.

While Gen V is getting better and better, The Boys feels like it's overstayed it's welcome. Just a bit though! We're still on board! But we are glad it's finally ending because it does feel like it's going in circles...

Will they have the balls to kill off any main characters? Will Homelander win or lose?? And will Matt Rife have the last laugh???

Alot of problems with the way homelander acts can be solved with him having a god complex and that's why he doesn't think rationally about how easier thing would be if he just flew over and kills them because he genuinely believes since he took the V1 nothing could hurt him so he just fucks around in the oval office

I love that they fucked up the end of Soldier Boy's story so much that literally no one realized it was the end of his story, and they actually had to put out a statement of basically "Yeah, that's actually it for him, he's not in the finale at all, so please don't yell at us when it doesn't happen." The only time I think I've seen something like this before is Mako and Asami's "break up" in The Legend of Korra.

Homelander has been obsessed with eliminating people who aren't true believers - they set that up with the president and with Firecracker. Even after everything, he still wants to be loved rather than feared.

I'm about a third of the way into the track and am preemptively laughing bc having missed the convo about Kimiko trying to get Soilder Boy's powers it will seem even more random and last minute than it actually was in the script
