The Doctor is in... as long as you're a teenager.

Haven't had enough Tiger King yet?!

Oh, you HAVE had enough?

WELL TOO BAD HUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TIME FOR SEASON 3 OR SOME SHIT!!!

Tiger King: The Doc Antle Story tells the story of - you guessed it - Doc Antle. Mysteriously (until now) absent from Tiger King 2, the Doc himself wound up getting his own season. Kinda. I mean it's three episodes. Is this Tiger King 3? Truly no idea.

Dude's a super creep so buckle up.

And of course... GO TIGERS!!!!!

Unrelated to this series but yeah most Zoos claim they are only to raise money for conservation but it’s really not about that. To me conservation means trying to get the animals back to the wild. There is currently a group trying to build a Zoo in Huntsville Alabama which is where I live and I’m really not happy about it. I’ve been commenting on all their Facebook posts asking what makes this zoo better than the 3 zoos less than 2 hours away and why we need this zoo in 2022😂

I used to work at a zoo, and good zoos absolutely do conservation work and if possible will do reintroduction programs to try and increase the wild population. The places this show focuses on, are not conservation organizations, or even what I would consider a zoo, they are exploiting the animals. You can look up each zoo and see what they do for wildlife and support ones that care about the animals, both in captivity and in the wild.

There are no doubt good zoos and I do respect the hell out of people who work to take care of the animals. I am just not huge on the idea of the type of captivity lots of zoos have. I just know the zoos i've been too made me leave feeling sad for the animals. Nothing horrific but they just didn't seem like they were thriving if that makes sense. I also don't feel like my area needs one. There in a arsenal near the land they want to put this zoo on and they blow shit up all day and it literally shakes the ground. I wonder how that would affect the animals. Not to mention the air port nearby

Oh I understand that not every place needs a zoo and I'm sorry all that disturbance is happening. That sounds terrible! As someone who works in conservation, it makes me mad to hear about disturbance happening to nature for an unnecessary addition. As for the animal in zoos, at accredited zoos, pretty much every animal is breed in captivity and not just taken from the wild. I would check the accreditations an institution has so you know the strict guidelines they have to meet. For example, I worked at an aza accredited zoo and they have to apply for re-accredidation every few years so they have to maintain all enclosures and habitats. Plus each species has specific specifications as to how the enclosure is set up and maintained to give the animals the beat quality of life possible. I totally understand that zoos are not everyone's thing, I just like to spread some information from my personal experience at one.

Thank you so much! That is good to know! Great information!
