As a boy I used to love the first movie I was 10 when it came out and my mom randomly bought it one day. She just came home with a dvd and I loved it. Then my cousin told me that there was an even better book series and my god there was. So when this movie came out 3 whole years later I had read the whole series and am the biggest Percy fan ever. And this movie fucking sucks. Can’t wait for you guys to see how much of it is in the series because it was in the first book and they just ignored it.

wow i havent watched this movie since probably the year it came out and i knew it wasnt great but holy shit this was the most bland movie in the worlddddd i honestly shouldve played this track as a podcast instead of rewatching this film. havent watched the series yet so excited to finally watch when those tracks come out!

Since nobody mentioned this the amusement park at the end is Jazzland/ Six Flags New Orleans which was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. Anyways I hated this movie as a kid and I watched it like 3 times against my will in English. I think because it's really easy to write an essay comparing the books and movies and why the movies are worse.
