Down with Gupta!

Not exactly revered as a Spielbruary classic, The Terminal tells the story of a silly little guy who lives in an airport and all of the wacky people he meets along the way. It also is at the center of a traumatic experience I had as a child. Micah is about to watch me face my fears...

Krista

So this was the track that Micah came to me in a dream to tell me about

bAby

I think this is based on a real guy too, at least that's what a YouTube video told me

Dystopian Wolf Studios

Eric running back in time like The Flash to warn his younger self to keep watching the movie.

Justin

yeah modern movies are cynical because modern studios are afraid of sincerity coming off as cheesy. there is an amazing video essay on it i cant remember what its called but it talks about bathos, which is the subversion of climax or sincerity for humor.

Dystopian Wolf Studios

This is like a feature film adaptation of an early 90s sitcom that ran for Four Seasons

Lewish

I have watched this and the national treasure edge of history tracks and i do NOT remember that code that was like a year ago do you expect anyone to remember a single thing from that be serious. But I did do it!

AMD

Yep, 3 for 3. And 'Eric's version of the bit' should be a channel on the discord.

lexi

just a 21 year old woman feeling like 13 year old eric right now

Quentin

Abby Mason

Thank you for this ! I love when you expose us to such fun movies....you just manage to torture us for a little bit first

DUG

CZJ was way to hot in this movie 😭

Emily

I really enjoyed this movie! I had seen pieces of it a couple years ago but not finished it. Without this track that would probably still be true for many years! And yes I did like watching along with Edge of History! you know once you see Eric and Micah on a track together its going to be a treat!

Lucy Turner

I NEED you guys to watch Merlin 😪

Michael

never could have guessed you would ever do a track for this, but so happy you did! i've loved this movie since my childhood

pmreez

What a lovely fucking movie. It made me feel so warm the whole time, they really don't make em like this anymore

Jessie

Well, this was certainly much more light-hearted than the real-life man it was based off of, thank god! Sir Alfred (real name Mehran Karimi Nasseri) was an Iranian refugee who lived in an airport for 18 YEARS. There are a few good documentaries about his story on YouTube for anyone interested.

Sebastian B

I had never seen this before and it was fantastic! Love this series
