Viewer beware, you're in for a piece of shit.

Ten years ago, we watched a handful of classic 90's episodes, and now Disney+ has released a decidedly un-classic reimagining of the classic R.L. Stine book series Goosebumps.

In order to fully immerse ourselves in green goo, Zach & I watched the original episodes before the new versions... and you can easily guess which we prefer every single time.

"I'm not a writer." Starts spitting hot fire about a better idea for a show.

The manga you were thinking of is "The Enigma of Amigara Fault" By Junji Ito, one of my favorites :)

that mask was giving pretty little liars

I think the point of the show was to adapt the BOOKS for kids and teens today. It misses the mark on that front, but the director having the actors watch the 90s series and having them play the same vibe would be going even further away from that goal and would just end up with a show not really made for anyone.

fair! i don’t remember when we discussed it but i recall the idea of the past scenes being 90’s style being a good one, as opposed to the entire series

Hearing Eric praise Zack Morris' (Isaiah) acting makes me so happy. Him and Justin Long are the only people who understand what Goosebumps is all about. Rob Huebel would've been perfect too if he were more oblivious & the tone was just a tad sillier.

So so funny. I saw Lisa Frankenstein today and am def going as her for Halloween with the gauze and was wondering if you'd seen it and if you liked it or not !
