When I travel and plan to shoot, I almost always book an Airbnb or similar place I can use as a location. I’m mainly looking for four things:

  • A place I can have entirely to myself (apartment, bungalow, or house).

  • Privacy from prying neighbors if at all possible.

  • Interior decor that is not too cluttered or ugly designed so it can be part of a background.

  • Available light (big windows/patio doors/skylights etc.)

This place ticked most of the boxes, except being a bit cluttered.

I shot the first two pictures with my 85mm of ƒ1.6 (1/250 and 1/1600, respectively). With this I could keep the clutter unobtrusive.

The last was shot with my 24-70 mm at ƒ2.8 1/60
