Venus De Sierra - The Birth of Geometry (Patreon)

Nude in the landscape is absolutely one of my favourite genre of images and there are few models better at this than @Venusdesierra. I had been following her work for 3-4 years (and she mine) before we had a chance to work together.

When I shoot in this genre it's really a question of walking around finding some shapes or forms that make for an interesting image, but also in a place where lighting works. 

I rely a lot on my composition knowledge  when looking for shapes, and then I work with the model to create the composition that will make a picture, have good lines and create an emotional content. Like the image that ended up as one of my limited edition prints a collection of images I consider to be some of my best.

One thing I find extremely important when I do landscape nudes is to integrate the model in the background and scenery. Have her be part of the environment. One of my mantras is "If there is a hole put a model in it".

Here is a BTS movie that shows how amazing she is - you can see the pose in one of the upcoming images I'll get to edit sometime soon from the movie. Watching this something just clicks in my brain (at which point I turned off the video and get going shooting real pictures).
