Maria and the thong (Patreon)

While shooting with Maria, I had the idea to do something almost without shadows but still with good separation and body texture. So for these images, I held the lamp head (a Profoto 10x) on top of the lens, so the axis of light is almost parallel to the field of view. That will give minimal shadows, make the parts of the skin at an angle to the light shine, and light on the sides of the body, and even ribs will fall-off and appear much darker.

And I enhanced this effect slightly in editing (as always) by adding a bit of contrast.

The lighting on the video is a bit higher than on the images though, which is causing a slightly different shadow.
