I told you about my trip to The Lake District the other day, but there are som many other images that you will have to bear with more post from there, this theme with Eowyn Luna, and in the duo's Tania Aresti

The striking dark look on the first two images is partly because of the weather and because I used a Lomo Petzval 85mm lens. This lens has a nice circular bokeh and an odd plane of focus (it's rounded as opposed to modern lenses, which has a flat plane of sharpness). So when you focus on the face, the feet will be partly out of focus.

As usual, when I shoot on-location outdoor, everything is natural light only.

When I shoot in places like this, I always start by finding areas where light can work and then look for a nice view. When I have started with a nice view, I focus on that view and can't get the light I want right and then the image doesn't work for me.

I shot Image 4+5 at a 90-degree angle from where Gwyneth is standing in the last image. So shooting away from the water. This way, the light is behind me and partly obscured by the leaves on the trees there.
