Minimalism with Rubia Stri (Patreon)

For this set of Rubia Stri I decided to remove as much from the images as possible to create a minimalist look.

The lighting is beauty dish shooting through a Walimex diffuser (1,50x2 meter) from one of those 5-in-one kits you can get. The beauty dish is just the widest reflector I have and thus creates a slightly softer light when diffused than a small reflector.

I then used some foam core boards to eliminate light from hitting the background and another black foam core board on the shadow side to keep the shadow deep and clean.

From there on, it was just a matter of directing Rubia to some compact and not too wild poses to maintain a somber mood.

My main regret with these was I should have painted that box in advance.
