In all fairness, this was Ester Rose's idea, and, generally, I'm not particularly eager to create images with stories, but I quickly agreed to this one, partly because it reminded me of something:

Back in the day when Facebook was still usable for photographers, I frequently saw posts by women (prospective models) who were looking for female boudoir/nude photographers, assuming that would be a more pleasant experience avoiding the male gaze.

And every time I read these posts, I was reminded of a female (lesbian) fashion photographer back in my advertising days who would relentlessly hit on and grope all the female models she had booked for fashion shots.

She was the female equivalent of Terry Richardson.

I know some male photographers hit on models, but so do women.

It's not a gender issue.

It's about good manners and behaving yourself.
I have no problem with photographers and models hooking up, as long as the photographer doesn't abuse the power he/she has while taking pictures.

Because a photographer generally "commands" the model to do all sorts of poses and the model complies, the model is in a vulnerable situation.
And as photographers, we need to be wary about not taking advantage of the models' compliancy.

Anyway, that was my thoughts behind these shoots.

No problem with story telling if the light and the poses are good :) btw, good serious story that goes with, too, tfs
