Duo Freestyle (Patreon)

Sometimes when working with professional models, one excellent avenue is to let them freestyle and then try to keep up.

Professional art models have an acute sense of lines, and even when working together, they are good at freestyling and can come up with concepts you couldn't dream up yourself like this image from my latest book Venus on Mars.

For this book, we were creating quite a few duo and trio shots, so we agreed on a general approach of having one model lead and have the other(s) follow traits and mimic or add flow to whatever pose the leading model would dream up.

And then, of course, switch, so everyone got to release their creative power.
