I somehow got to think of Tintin and the black Island when I saw this rock and I tried to make it an imposing structure. If you wonder how Nicole got up there, watch the BTS video (on Photographer and Vault tiers)

I looked at the image before reading your caption and I must admit I never once thought of Tintin. Question: How do you communicate with a model under conditions such as in this photo? Lovely lighting and perfect pose.

Either I yell or we prearrange what to do. I’ve sometimes used mobile phones set to speaker, and just lay them on the ground or somewhere concealed so the model can hear my directions.
