I like the line and musculature of her body. In particular, the arch of her body mimics the shape of the rocks lurking in the background. Her hair mimics the branches of the mesquite. There is a tension to the pose which makes me think that the rough surface where her body touches the ground is uncomfortable. I admire the composition and elements brought into play here and the emotions it raises.

Beautiful, consistent with all your work, impersonal ( no face), non-static, a lesson in anatomy, dinamyc

Tom Andrews

Great shot! She looks like some kind of desert monster…😂😂😂

A powerful picture. The fact to do not see any piece of face may be reduce the impact.

I like it. I love the sharpness of the subject and following the lines makes me pause on the photo. However, the limited DOF and blurred background makes me wonder why you are at a remote location if you can’t see it. But I really like the image.

One thing I strive to do when creating images is trying to capture some emotion. And It's really less important which it is. I've posted a variant of this before on Instagram and a lot of people commented that she looked starved, sad feral etc. While the comments themselves might point toward negativity, to me it's a sign that I'm doing something right, I'm provoking a reaction. My personal goal when creating images is to create something people will spend at least 3-5 seconds looking at - as opposed to just scroll. When people take out a full minute to consider and write a comment I feel I'm successful. - thanks for chiming in.
