Content

Guys, as you can see from the letter, I've just had an issue with Patreon. They have the idea that some art-nude images are P0rn (no, you can't even write the term). As a result, I've had to remove some content that I think might  falls under their definition of unsuitable material (there are more definitions than they mention in the letter). It's probably related to demands from payment providers, and it's hard to do anything about that.

All is good, the've looked and cleared my page so there are no problems, except for some missing posts and some images from some posts.

There is nothing I like less than to self-censor (that's the whole point of me using Patreon), but there is some content I have created that I clearly can't show on this platform.

I want to uphold their guidelines when I post (as I understand those guidelines), but I will not let one platform's community guidelines dictate what I photograph.
I currently don't know where I can show some of that content though.

Patreon makes it clear that it's not allowed to link to it or email content to patrons, so that is out of the question.

I have a couple of possible outlets in mind, but I would love to hear any ideas you might have.

Btw. Completely unrelated:
If you are not already signed up for my mailing list, I'd suggest you do - it's all about photography. Some excellent offers are about to pop up in conjunction with Black Friday.

Crazy. They make so much money off nudity and try to censor it.

I think it's a payment provider issue like what happened on Onlyfans. If I have to guess, it's an issue with Paypal or Payoneer that are their payment providers.

Yeah, it’s sad but it’s not that big of a deal. I’m afraid it’s just symptomatic of the somewhat woke society we all live in...

I have had the same issue. It has to do with the largest payment provider. PP. PP actually locked my account a month ago and they are holding my money hostage for 6 months. I hope I actually get it back. It's asinine. they actually won't even tell me why they locked my account.

If you have $ in a PayPal account withdraw all of it immediately. I would also avoid using venmo as well since PayPal owns them. It should be illegal for PayPal to hold on to you

Some use Flickr, in case you are still thinking about what is best to do to show the content you want
