I love to work with Dancers, acrobats, contortionists, yogis, etc. The amount of body awareness and control leaves me breathless every time.

From a technical point of view, the hardest part was managing contrast to make sure the model stood out. The light in the background is much brighter than the light reaching the model, so I developed the image twice (one version right for the model and one where I put as much detail in the highlight as possible)  and blended these together.

A bright highlight next to the model will make the eye wander and be less interesting.

I hope to be able to make a movie illustrating this double development technique soon-ish.
