Whats not to like about Elena? (Patreon)

This is the gorgeous Elena, aka Nausicaa_Yami, who I shot during a UK group shoot and at one of my UK workshops.
The first image is natural light from a window; two and three are lit with a large deep umbrella from Pixapro - similar to my 57" Zeppeliner, only a bit bigger.

Typically fro shots with flash, I aim to use somewhere between ƒ 8-11 to have a reasonable good Depth of field, and since I can control the background, I don't have to worry about getting it out of focus.

On the sunlight shot, I'd generally go for somewhere between ƒ 5.6-11; as she is up against the background, there is nothing won with a more shallow DOF.
