I did a private 1:1 workshop with a photographer and Rebecca Perry. When I do these workshops, they can be structured any way the customer wants.

This photographer (wisely) wanted to alternate; seeing how I would set up different scenarios, communicate with the model, adjust light, get some good shots, and then replicate the procedure himself.

From a learning point of view, I think this is a very sound procedure:

You learn more from seeing someone who knows what they are doing "do their thing" while explaining why they do it that way.

And then try to do it yourself, so you discover the inevitable pitfalls.

You both learn a method that works, what the difficulties are, and that gives you a sound foundation for understanding and setting up your own set in the future.

Since I was working almost as I would normally with a model, here Rebecca Perry, I obviously created some images along the way.

If you are interested in a similar custom workshop feel free to reach out.
