I arrived in LA about 6 pm, spent a couple of hours in immigration, picked up my rental car, and went in search of a phone store where I could get a prepaid sim card so my Phone would work in the US. Then I confirmed with Aries.

I had made an appointment with her to pick her up in Malibu the following day at 6 am.

I know from experience that I would wake up at 4 am anyway, so I might as well do a shoot.

I picked her up, and we drove a bit up the coast on the pacific highway to Pirates Cove, where we shot these images. And as soon as we walked down on the beach, we were greeted by several dolphins feeding and playing right off the coast.

Then we went for coffee and breakfast on the way back.

I was intrigued by all the mineral deposits' colors in this place. I think that is what makes these images stand out.
