In summer ’17, Sienna Hayes visited me, and we shot for a couple of days, partly in Stevns Klint (as mentioned earlier) and partly at Kullaberg.

I’ve posted most of the images previously on Patreon, but here are a few that got away.

As almost always, it’s only natural light as a 24-70mm zoom.

The “trick” to shooting on location with natural light is to start looking for places where the light will work: Directional light (so usually a wall/trees etc., nearby on one side) that can hit the model's body at an optimum angle. And then search for a location in the places where the light will work.

Since you can’t change the light, shooting in places with a fabulous locations but bad light will usually lead to mediocre images.

So always start looking for places where the light can work.
