Sometimes when photographing with a model where there is mutual trust, it becomes almost a bit of a flirting game. We hadn’t discussed shooting anything erotic here, but we have in the past. But Anneli was moving, and I was following, sometimes interjecting subtle directions. We ended up with something that is perhaps erotic, certainly explicit, but then again, it both has an abstraction and some playfulness to it.
