Georgia Brown in the peaks (Patreon)
Content
This was a fantastic shoot that started unluckily:
Georgia was dropped off at my Airbnb, and we headed toward a location.
About a mile before we arrived, I had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, and it took roadside assistance about four h to get there and exchange the tire.
I used to opportunity to build rapport with Georgia and get to know her.
That meant that even though we wasted 2/3 of the allotted time, we were entirely on the same page when shooting, and we got some fantastic images from three locations in very little time.
The moral (if any) is that you can waste time or spend it.
The difference is all in the mindset.
Georgia later told me that my demeanor coming across as relaxed about the unfortunate situation and still assuring her we’d finish at the prearranged time, relaxed her immensely and allowed her to go all in when we did shoot.
