I had been shooting with Hannah Cleopatra in some pretty windswept rocks during the day, and she stayed in my spare bedroom. After a long warm bath, she was good to do again, and we did an indoor session and a quick outdoor one. The light may appear bland, but when you place a model up against a wall or any structure that prevents light from one side, you will have directional light. And with that, it’s all about working the angles and getting the light to hit at the right angle.

We shot these just before dusk, so most of the light is from a relatively low angle, which helps too.
