I do love to travel for photography.

I love researching a new place for location and then discovering it in real life. Not to mention the way I look at places is entirely different when I do it for photography than for vacation.

Places become a vessel for displaying a woman’s best sides, considering the light, location, and vantage point.

Jeff Dunas (google him) once asked me if I had everything planned when going on location.

I told him how I work, and he said: “So you have a ballpark idea about the place, but then kinda just shows up trusting that the force will be with you?"

And I guess that is a pretty good explanation.

I have an idea but no set plan, which forces me to keep my eyes open. And that works very well for me.

This is Herodiade in a slot canyon on Lanzarote.
