Nude is always better (Patreon)

Simone is a commercial model, having worked in advertising and commercially for many years, living and working in New York.

She’s shot nudes, of course, but her default is clothing, so we started with that; we quickly ended up doing topless and, soon after that, nude: 

We just agreed it worked better that way.

I rarely start shooting with clothing on; I’m not a fan of the "stripping" element, and besides, using clothes will leave marks.

The light on these is a large Fresnel spot (if you don’t know what it is, think old Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman movies). The aspect of this lamp that I love is the way the light falls off to the sides: Very, very gradual with no discernible border. That does not stop me from flagging it further, as you can see in the BTS movie.
