These two shots of Hannah Cleopatra are shot on different days, but the weather was about the same, dramatic, windy, and slight rain.

But I’ve taken vastly different editing approaches:

While I’m going for drama on both, the sepia tone has a much longer distance to the background, so I felt I could better draw her out by making the background less contrasty, and I tried adding the somewhat heavy sepia toning.

In the other image, she is standing against the back wall, so I went for hard contrast and picked out all possible contrast in the sky to let that play a part.

Which of the two do you like best?

I think I like the second image best since the lightness of her body stands out from the rock and background clouds. In the first image that's not the case. I wonder what it would look like if you lightened her entire body a bit more ...

Been there and the thing is parts of her body is on the verge of burning out (from memory). The light is mainly from above so there are limits to what I can get away with (and still have a usable picture).

That’s a tough one, I like the tone of the 1st one, and I like the crispness of the 2nd. If I had to pick one, it would have to be the 2nd, only because I am a details person and like to see sharper images. Just me.
