Ylva on point (Patreon)

My friend Ylva was at the studio for a couple of hours last month, and we managed to shoot a few pictures too. 

Here are a couple of them.

Admittedly we did spend way too much time chatting. Still, there was catching up to do, which is also essential to maintain a great relationship with the models I photograph repeatedly. I care about them and am genuinely interested in what's going on in their lives, and this builds bonds that create trust and openness.

Lightwise, I used the 57" zeppelin and a soft grid with one of my Profoto B1 lamps.

And then, I closed down the background a bit more with a v-flat and a flag to center attention on Ylva.
