Dottir model on Mallorca a couple of years ago. I can’t pinpoint why, but I have a love/hate relationship with this image. It’s not great or bad, but it intrigues me, and I still have not figured out why. Feel free to chime in with opinions.

It’s a beautiful setting but I find Dottir’s pose and expression to be incongruous with the scene. She looks too tense, as if she were expecting the creature from the black lagoon might suddenly appear.

Maybe if her expression was relaxed and she wasn't looking to the camera? Then it might give us a feeling of her taking the waters more meditatively. The shapes of her body does seem to echo the rippling shapes of the rock, so that seems to fit.

I`m no photographer by any means. But she looks tense and not relaxed at all. Nice looking picture otherwise

I actually like the tension in the model — it’s something different and engaging. If I had to nitpick anything…maybe the hand? The palm facing the camera somehow doesn’t quite fit the feel of the image. 🤷🏻‍♂️
