Here's the list of all possible subjects for this month, and a little bit of explanation for what I could cover on each of them 👇
✏ Tips for Lineart
Kinda self explanatory. I don't think my linearts are anything special, but I can certainly share a few tips to help you feel more confident if you think your lineart lacks magic
👄 How to render anime Lips
Self explanatory too. Since anime isn't 100% realistic, sometimes it's hard to decide how far we can go when painting a character's lips. Too little feels like they're basic, and too much like a clown's make-up 😂 I'd show you how I get a middle point in my drawings that adds just enough spark to the character.
🌈 How I use Gradient Maps
While I've recently made a guide about them, I know Gradient Maps look super confusing at first. I'd show you how I use them to go from grayscale to colors easily and hopefully, resolve their mystery once and for all!
✨ Finishing touches
We finish an illustration, we're proud of the result (or not xD), but there's always that tiny voice in our heads that says it could look better. I'll show you simple tricks you can use to take your art from "Okay" to "YASSS BABY!" without redoing the whole illustration.
☀ Dynamic Lighting
I kinda hinted on previous videos that there are a lot of types of light source. In this tutorial I'd focus on how to use light to create dramatic and dynamic effects on your art.
♥ Anatomy
There's A LOT of things to learn about anatomy. (I keep finding out more and more every day 😂) I would need several tutorials to start covering just the basics and decide how to best structure the learning path, so without further planning I can't give you a very precise description of what this tutorial would include, sadly 😅 But you know, we'd learn useful things to get better at human anatomy.
⚡ Dynamism in poses
I'd most likely split this into 2-3 videos as well to cover different types of dynamism (static poses, motion poses...). Not sure what we'd be starting with, but if you feel all the characters you draw look stiff, this is where you'll learn to fix that!
And that's it for this month's choices.
