Anatomy! 🦴

I'm not surprised as this is pretty much a constant struggle for artists of any level 😂 Anatomy chases us throughout all our journey.

I have an idea of what I'd like to explain with this next tutorial; mostly basic stuff as I feel that's where the key to learning anatomy is. But I also want your input again.

✨ What do you struggle the most with anatomy? What problems do you usually face when drawing bodies?

Anything you'd like to share will help me shape either this or future tutorials to make them useful for you :)

En mi caso yo creo que lo básico lo tengo, pero me faltan los detalles 👀🤔 No solo a la hora de dibujar sino también a la hora de poner sombras 😢

I struggle with height differences (like a person next to building and other people), hands of course, and sometimes knowing how big the head should be with the shoulders, also body types like trying to make bigger vs smaller hips or boobs in clothes.

I mostly struggle with making a body not look stiff

I struggle with perspective with anatomy and drawing shapes that make sense. It’s like something looks off or wrong. I can’t draw in any perspective and would love to learn that a bit! If possible

Definitely hands although, I think I'm getting a little better, still, tips would be useful!!! Elbows and knees actually, probably elbows more then knees. Especially when drawing poses where they're more obvious or should be more obvious. Last thing for me is the neck and surrounding area. Not so much in a straight on pose but if it's like a side on or looking over shoulder, I think that's where I struggle.

Knowing how and when to exaggerate to avoid stiff poses is definitely one of my bigger weak spots at the moment (also hands 😅)

The main thing I really wanna learn is how to make the upper body more correctly sized. I keep making the chest or abdomen too long and I just cant find any tutorials that work for me. Some say draw boxes, some say cylinders but neither work for me

One thing I struggle with is faces, the forms and shapes on the face and where the eyes nose and mouth goes to achieve a different expressions without it looking wonky. Also, proportions an the perspective of different positions. If that all makes sense :)
