About the future of video subtitles (Patreon)

I wanted to hear your opinion on a topic that's been annoying me for the past few months.

I am aware that this Patreon family we're building together comes from many different parts of the world. And I love its diversity! ❤

As a non-native English speaker, I'm always grateful to have subtitles on anything I watch. I might not use them, but it feels safe to have the option just in case I have issues understanding the other person's accent. Not to mention that sometimes, I might need to watch that content while there's a lot of noise around me and I can't really hear what they're saying.

But as the person who has to write and add those subtitles to videos... it is quite an annoying task 😅 Especially after I've already spent hours working on a tutorial, adding even more hours to make sure the subtitles show up correctly and translating them to Spanish just makes me groan like a monster.

So I wanted to know; are the subtitles in my videos useful for you? Or would you be able to watch them and understand my sometimes funny accent just fine?😂

Please be totally honest! Even if it's more work for me, I want my content to be useful for you, so if you want the subtitles to stay in either language just say so.
