Been working for the longest on a new character design based off my cat. But now it's done!

In my family, we usually joke about our cat being the head of an Italian mafia because she's just always been very leader-like and curious about what everyone else is doing in the house. (I literally can't go to the bathroom without her following me 😂) She's also got that black and white fur that makes it look like she's wearing an elegant outfit. So I wanted to draw how I think she'd look like as a human!

I present you... La Mamma Tuna 🚬

(Yeah, we named her after a fish just because 😂)

I can't decide if I like her better with or without the hat, though... What do you think?

On a side note, I want to make this month's tutorial about shading tips again if that's okay with you ♥ It's such a wide concept that includes so many things that I believe it is best to bring it to you in small doses so you don't get stressed trying to learn everything at once.

Wow!!!! Absolutely gorgeous (cat and art)! I do like the hat but I think I slightly prefer the one without the hat. I'm excited for more shading tips! The last set definitely helped improve my shading, with a pencil at least, I will try in digital too though, I just get nervous about trying more than anything basic, like blending tools/brushes. Gaussian blur my layer then clean up with the eraser, that's me!

oh, I think you've just given me an idea for another shading tips video. I could talk about different digital tools you can use to create different kinds of shading!

Sounds good! That would definitely be useful for me at least!!!
