Hey y'all! It's a good day. Queen's Brothel has been approved for a Steam release. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1350250/Queens_Brothel/

I am planning on releasing Queen's Brothel as early access in January. I think that gives me enough time to finish the main story quest and add some more sidequests.

Patrons will receive a Steam key if they have given me atleast $10 total in the past 4 years of development.

If you could please wishlist the game on Steam, as those numbers help put Queen's Brothel in the "New and Trending" section on Steam. And we have to let the Steam gamers know about our queen, Queen.

Not sure. I hope Steam gives me a boost in sales, but I'm pretty sure it's all about marketing on my end.

2026-09-06 16:00 I'm worried about this, because there will probably be a lot of haters and you can "lose" the game, especially on Patreon

What is your concern? A Steam release will just let people buy the game without having to pay monthly for a subscription on Patreon. I'll have to find other ways to give a reason for people to stay pledged on Patreon, such as starting a new game, which is what I have planned for next year.

Got it. Hate brigading is something every content creator can fear. Under good leadership, there are stats showing that "being canceled" is a phase that can be waited out, assuming you're a person / company that is still providing a valuable product. Take No Man's Sky for example, they created a game that everyone hated at launch, but they kept working and the reviews these days are very good. You've probably seen influencers get canceled, but they're still very popular. On the other hand, if you're a bad leader and you can't handle a situation where you are getting canceled (Artesian Builds), you will most likely fall. One reason why I'm not scared of Queen's Brothel being brigaded is because the reviews are pretty dang good on itch.io, f95zone, and Newgrounds. I think it's safe to say that people do think Queen's Brothel is a product worth supporting. So, no matter what happens to the game, if I continue to create a good product, haters will not matter.

I wouldnt be concerned about steam. There is far worse than this on there lol. I have Succubus and one thing you do to restore health in that game is beat the shit out of pregnant women then rip the fetus out the vagina and eat it. Sooo i wouldnt be worried.

DPMaker: Just did the 'Wish List' for you ok

Your welcome. Hope it works out for you. BTW There has been other games on Steam that show nudity and sex.

DPMaker

Yes, Steam had an adult section now so Queen's Brothel will fit right in.

Definitely added to the 'Wish List' :D

No problem, I will find alternatives.
