Bloodrager - Powderburn Discipline (Patreon)

Check out the Powderburn Bloodrager! A new discipline that's focused on firearms, specifically firearms in close-range combat. They're reckless and dangerous, and prefer to shoot at point blank.

Powderburn's Proficiency gives them firearms proficiency as table-stakes, and the ability to use Str for firearms attacks. Blade and Shot eliminates point-blank disadvantage, lets you pistol-whip enemies, lets you bonus action pistol-whip for bonus fire damage, and lets you shoot bloodline-damage bullets. Staggering Blast is relatively small for a defensive feature, granting immunity to deafened and letting you penalize opponents' opportunity attacks. Powderhorn Brew sits in the usual utility slot even if it's more combat-focused; grant your allies a swig of gunpowder grog for temporary hit points and a brief save boost. (Fun fact: that's based on history! Blackbeard supposedly added gunpowder to his rum). Blackpowder Berserker at 20th gives you bonus damage, advantage on attacks, and makes your Blade and Shot attack free.
