August Monthly Update (Patreon)

My goodness it's been a busy summer! Let's check in on how August went.

Machines of Bone and Blood: Progress continues! This month we concluded the Backer's Choice polls, got started on the Build-a-Horror rewards, and started sending out Spellbound Sea add-ons. I only wrote one species and a couple subclasses, but also wrote an adventure and a bit, edited another adventure, and processed edits to the necromancer class. Plus recruited more playtest coordinators and got the playtest packet underway (release TBD September).

Patreon: Basically continuing the same steady growth trajectory.

Discord:  Humming nicely with all our new MB&B-recruited members!

Troubadour, Swashbuckler, Bloodrager: Nothing to report here just yet.

Necromancer: Processed a mammoth number of edits (they'll show up in the Playtest Packet). Wanted to get the Backer's Choice subs started, but haven't yet.

Abomination: Finished the Nature of the Deva and the Nature of the Blossom; those haven't been released to the public yet, but are visible to supporters and MB&B backers.

Subclasses: Rat it up with the Ratmind patron!

Design Notes: I ran out of time to get this done, but I still intend to. Haven't decided the topic yet.

Misc: May's poll was an NPC pack, and was a tie between Crabkin and Awakened Trees! The Trees will also go into MB&B, though the Crabkin will not. Check it here!

What's on the plate for August!

MB&B: So much. Bora's working on the Playtest Packet, Mys and I are both drafting adventures, and I plan to go hard on subclasses this month to get everything into the testing pipeline. I'm hoping to get backers preview versions of four (4!) adventures, too.

Polls (24 hours left!): The general subclass poll currently looks like you all really like the moon — Silvery Moon warlock is in the lead, with Oath of the Moonlight paladin close behind. The supporter poll this month is a spell pack (which'll probably get pulled into MB&B). Currently a strong lead for Stars.
