Hi folks! It's Fiesta time in San Antonio! I have been wanting to make this bright party favorite for some time and now is the perfect month to release it :) Because I created the links to be so robust, you can print this little Flexi sooo small! I test printed between 50% and 300%!!! The smallest prints can be used as earrings, 100% is easily a keychain, and my wife printed the max Piñata at 300% (though it can go much larger), for my kiddos Fiesta Float. This model looks amazing in rainbow PLA. As you can see on the large version, the eyes and harness were hand painted. But the rainbow changed beautifully to show the layers. Print Tips and Info:

 BONUS DOWNLOADS are HERE!!! https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-files-here-88548096

Loop and non-loop versions available

STL files and 3mf files included for easy painting in colors of your choice

The links are VERY strong...don't be afraid to make them tiny :)

For those without multi-color, consider a simple layer color change. The way I designed, you can do a whole plate without having to color individual parts.

I tried two new to me PLAs for this model. Both printed smooth and excellent color changes. For the small versions, consider filling the plate for more color variation.

50%, 75% and 100% STL printed with Creality Pro Rainbow

300% stl printed with FXAAGFH Matte Rainbow

3mf plate of 100% minis in a variety of standard pla in color of your choice :)I hope you love these little characters. Don't forget to post on Discord or tag @flexifactory on social media!!! I just love seeing all the varieties of prints. -Dan

Heather N Young

@bigibomb that’s what my husband and my oldest daughter said. I told her “if the whole Fortnite game was this cute I might play it. “ I love picking on my daughter about playing that. lol

This is awesome, viva and fortnite vibes

Rackley 3D Prints

Small world! I'm in SA too! Testing a plate of earrings!

Rackley 3D Prints

Unsure what printer you are using, but anything can become a keychain using either an add on Torus or a negative part Torus to carve a hole through the object... I like the negative part because it's so much stronger. Using Bambu Studio... Pretty sure it can be done in most slicers.

Paul G

A frangible piggy bank for easy and fun and thematic removal of money but that can be reassembled...so print-in-parts-in-place. PIPIP! 😄

Chris Martin

It seems to suggest adding supports at 300%+. Did you do any supports for the 300%? Also semi debating a 500% one since it fits my plate.

Jason

It printed well but when I smashed it I got no candy.

Dan

Awe. I was thinking about trying to make it hollow, but the links are so big it needs the space to print well :( No candy

Dan

Nope. It does not need supports. Even at 500% the overhangs are engineered :)

Chris Martin

Awesome! In that case ordering better filament.

Dan

Yes, luckily holes and loops can be easily added (and allowed as part of the membership.) But many of my designs have smaller links that would become weak when printed small. For this, you can see how big the pieces have to be to remain strong. Unfortunately that is not the same for all the designs as you stated.

ProtoSpyre LLC

You should create a amazon list of what filament your using so some of us could buy the exact product! I know we do this with cinderwing3d somehow I don't end up finding the same exact ones haha

Mark

Any way we can get a DOG PLANTER ?? You have a cat and a sloth, we really need a dog 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dan

I plan to after I make a dog. Just haven't decided fully how to navigate the various breeds. But I am always working on ideas.

Mark

I’ll keep asking until you make one 😁

Dan

Counting on it! It's a nice reminder to keep tinkering on the design.

shirley

Have you ever designed any prints that were not animals ? love all your designs

andrews models shop

yes he has printed the samurai, the astronaut, the hand and skeleton foot etc

Dan

Yes, Many! I made a Samurai (this one is included with your April Downloads on Patreon), Astronaut, Knight, Skeleton, 2 Dragons, Skeleton foot, skeleton hand, Teddy Bears, Herbert the Heart, Alien, Robot, Gingerbread man, Viking Prince and Princess Gnomes, Alien spinner, Pinata mini, Eyeball, spinner, knight accessories. I think I got them all :) Many can be found in the bonus folder or the 40% off link for older public releases. And I will have a non animal release I believe this month.

Brandon V

Thanks for the models you design. My daughter loves when I say there's a new FF model to print. These are no exception. I liked your rainbow one and it gave me an idea. I loaded up my AMS with spools that had very little filament left, filled the build plate up, marked each AMS slot that they were the same filament so it would just keep going after a spool ran out, and let it print. Got some great uniquely colored pinatas that my kids, nieces, and nephew absolutely loved. Just started another plate full with some more scrap filament and plan on leaving them on my desk for coworkers to take or letting my kids take them to school to give out. Thanks again for the work you do.

Amanda Judd

same! They were a big hit at the gaming expo locally!

Jill Martin

These turned out awesome!

Clara Christensen

can you tell me how you made them earrings, please! and thanks

Pauline S Lenz

Dan, can you tell me how small I can go and still have the round links you used (I ordered those) fit through the hole please? :-)

Dan

Those fit at 100%..if you go smaller, you will need to buy thinner loops :)

Angela

Love this!

MamaBear

I thought we already had this one. Is there something different from the older version? Kids love this model around me…

Dan

This is an older post and included with the bonus files.
