This exclusive is Included for September Member's Only. If you join October 1st or later, it is in the vault until January 2nd 2025. Then it will be $3.99 for members!

...............................................................................................................It's surely the season for ghouls, goblins and all things spooky! Holidays always seem to creep up on me, so I'm really glad you all voted on this one. I originally started designing the mummy as a floppy non-standing flexi, but quickly realized it would be much cooler standing...and it's still super floppy.

I designed the sarcophagus top to be printed vertical (for stl) and horizontal (for 3mf). The Vertical orientation will turn out a smoother finish for single color prints. Multi-color prints should be done with the horizontal orientation to avoid an extremely lengthy print time and tons of waste.

This model was test printed from 50% to 125%. It has very sturdy links, so it can be printed considerably small. Of course, some detail may be lost. Print tips and Info:

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.

I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.

As usual. make sure you have good adhesion. I always use a glue stick

Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List

1st photo printed 3mf 100%: Cookiecad Mint Chip for the bones, Overature Light Brown for the gauze, Sarcophagus in Amazon Gold and Mika3d Fast Rainbow

2nd photo STLs 50% and 60%: Ziro Fast Change Peachy Sunrise and Sarcophagus in Amolen Black Shiny Red Gold

4th Photo STL 125%: Ziro Twilight

Happy Thursday and Happy Printing -Dan*Please consider tagging @flexifactory/ #flexifactory in your social posts so I can see your amazing prints! AND make sure to share in the private Flexi Factory discord :)

JACKPOT 3D CREATIONS

looks great but needs a staff or scepter to go with it. all the other ones you have made has something to go with it and are great sellers for me but this guy will be missing it standing next to the other great models you have made. just a thought.

James Hunt

Thats awesome will be great with Halloween shows we got coming up

Carla Schrum

when will this be available?

TIMOTHY L DURHAM

You have simply outdone yourself again. These are outstanding.

Dan

Download in the post above :)

Dan

But his hands can't hold anything :( There is the sarcophagus that goes with it.

JACKPOT 3D CREATIONS

Yes I know I like the sarcophagus I think it adds something to it just changes price point with it. Still love it and it's already printing. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the great designs

Timothy Proffitt

Does the single color sarcophagus need supports? Bambu Studio seems to think so? Just curious if you can let me know that would be great!!

Dan

The vertical file and horizontal file do not need supports. It may send a warning, but neither ever need supports.

CLR Designs

All we need now is a Werewolf.

Jaromir knechtl

You are a master in your field. Thanks for your work

Amanda Lawrence

Might be the coolest print yet! I love it!!

Francis Pelland

Love this! Any chance you considered the sarcophagus without the teeth? It would look so much cleaner!

Dan

I would prefer not to. Kind of my brand of art style :)

Giamarie Saponaro

Hi! I didn’t use any supports but the vertical one came off the plate 5 minutes before it was finished 😭

Timothy Proffitt

Oh no! We will see how mine does. It’s printing now. Hehe.

kim Sinks

you need to do a vampire, wolfman and Frankenstein to go with the mummy

Tami

I work in Radiology and love everything to do with bones. I LOVE this guy!

3LV3N

This is super cool, I just wish he'd sit up. <3

Ron Fechner

Amazing just finished the mummy

Dan

Unfortunately he can't sit and stand as with my other designs. Due to the way it prints as a print-in-place.

Ron Fechner

he stands just fine, sit, no...

Carla Schrum

the ssarcophagus doesnt need supports for the multi color?

Jason

wow amazing

Travis

Love the mummy , it be cool if he had a staff for is hand , or if his arms stayed out straight

Dan

No. Print it horizontal for less waste and faster :)

Gregory A Henry

This looks super cool with glow-in-the-dark filaments for eyes and skeleton. I did green for the eyes and teeth and blue for the skeleton.

Dan

Please share on discord or social media @flexifactory. I would love to see it!

Gregory A Henry

I just got to get a good shot in the dark. :)

Gregory A Henry

You can get him to sit up partially if you put his hands behind him

Ian Taylor

I printed the mummy at 75% it stands up 😀

Gerri Tokar-Hines

We printed it with the teeth in glow in the dark with the base color black and the accents in gold so that it would appear as though the mummy had an a spiritual element coming through. The mummy we printed with glow in the dark bones and flesh toned wrap and it turned out AWESOME. LOVE LOVE LOVE this design drop! Thanks, Dan!

Travis

Could you put a lil spot for a magnet in his hand and on a staff then he could hold it. just a thought

David Long

Is it just me or does the sarcophagus lid not stay closed? i didn't see a taper where it would click in. I printed a lot of these as give a ways at my local barber for kids that are good when getting their hair cut. I had to use a rubber band to keep it all as 1 piece.

Jude

This is absolutly fab, the detail that when he stands you cant see the joints in his leg is an added bonus

Joni Goodman

Turned out sooo cool! This is so amazing. Now to find glow in the daark paint for is eyes until I can afford a Bambu..LOL

Silvyr

I just printed this and it is SO AWESOME COOL AMAZING!!!!I didn’t have any trouble printing it- per usual. THANK YOU sooooo much

Jill Martin

Printed a couple and they turned out amazing!

csr

I loved this print. I used glow in the dark blue. COOL!

Corey

Anyone run these off at 50%? I have a batch queued up and hoping they do fine. Usually don't have an issue with reducing size of FlexiFactory models within reason but figured I'd check. I've already done hundreds of prints this year for halloween and most popular are always FlexiFactory and one other creator. People can't get enough.

Dan

I test to 50% and they worked well! Joints are small and some detail is lost, but they stand perfectly.

Dan

It was made to sit on top and not snuggly fit.

George Mikhail

hi, i did not get the September link/files on my mini factory.

Sharon

When printing the Sarcophagus, do you recommend using supports?

Dan

I do not. It is designed to work without supports. But depending on your materials, you may need to adjust your settings to get a smoother finish.

Josue Medero

How do you get these files? Im a member and dont have them

Dan

The Mummy was included last month as an exclusive, so it is currently vaulted for new members. If you were a member when it was released, please check your email for the archival link. The older files move off the server each month, since they rotate monthly.

Josue Medero

Yes I have been a member for a couple of months now. Can I get the email again? I cannot find it.

Q _BEK

hello, where can i buy the model for 3.99$ ?

Dan

This one is vaulted until January 2nd. It was included for October members as you see in the post

Dan

Would you please DM me so I can double check your email address and resend the links? Here on the platform. This is a public messaging forum that you're writing on

3D lab

I was a member, but don't see file.

MrSpinner Inc

Dan, have you ever thought of doing an Egyptian Princess? We have a customer request for a "girl mummy". We LOVE this mummy and sarcophagus design and would love to offer it in a girl version, even if it's just a redesign of the sarcophagus and the same mummy, which we could print in a shade of pink or purple.
