I know this winged Skeli Dino has been on the request list for some time but... those wings needed quite a bit of noodling!I am really excited about this release. Not only is the body print-in-place, which was important to me, I was able to make it posable with an opening mouth :)The eye and no eye versions are included, with a simple snap on top piece. I also added a nest and egg that can be printed in a variety of colors which really ties the design together. Happy Printing -Dan*Please consider tagging @flexifactory/ #flexifactory in your social posts so I can see your amazing prints! Print tips and Info:

STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.

I print with, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.

As usual, make sure you have good adhesion, especially for the mini versions. A glue stick works or I have switched to using on all my machines... a BIQU Cryopgrip Frostbite adhesion plate.

I successfully test printed between 50% and 150% for this design.

Gradient PLA works well with this model: I have a comprehensive list of Filament I use here: Amazon List

1st photo is 115% STL : Stained Process with Overture Light Brown: Video Tutorial Click Here

2nd photo is 100% STL : Eryone Gradient Shire and Ziro Vibrant Coral Nest is Amolen Tigerwood

3rd photo 60% and 90% STLs: Ziro Rainbow Blaze, Eggs are Cookiecad Mint Chip and Nest is Overture Light Brown

Love this one, I already printed it at 120% with a fish because it needs to eat and now I’m working on babies

Jason

amazing

LadiesMan217

hi I am trying to print the Pterodon ,but in the slicer I use It tell me that I need supports ,your description tells me that I don't need them.Should I print it without or with supports?

WildWest3D Creations

did you end up doing supports? i was about to print but was wondering the same

Callys3DPrinting

Without, usually don’t need supports for the Dino’s even when I go down to 50%

Dan

None of my designs ever need supports. Please ignore the prompts as it will possibly lead to failures. I test the limits of overhangs on all of my designs and sometimes it will call for support when they are not needed.

The Lad

not sure what slicer you're using - but I've printed about 10 of them and none of them needed supports to print and be functional.

LadiesMan217

No I did not, but my printer keeps jamming up.

Dan

You can send some screenshots and we can discuss your settings and machine and slicer to Flexifactory@gmail.com it wouldn't be a support issue that's causing it to jam up, especially if the slice is clean and you don't see any anomalies from a strange download.

LadiesMan217

I think it does, my printer keeps jamming up before it finishes the print .So far it works good without supports.

Ware do I find the file? Thank you

Dan

May be the tall neck snagging or losing adhesion. You can also send pics and I can help

Jill Martin

This is a great addition to the skeleton dino family! Great file!
