XXL Skeleton T-Rex now available! (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I have added a Cut/ XXL Version, STL and 3MF project file for those that would like to make the Skeleton T-Rex XXL! Oh man I JUST STARTED 1 hr in on your first Dino. Printed it as one piece on my sovol asv08Max 500mm bed went corner to corner. Take pic tomorrow at 1800 when it’s done and start on T-Rex!!!!!

It's in your Cults3D, Myminifactory or thangs account if you had bought the original file. I had to go to MMF and redownload my files to get it.

It would only be in my mini Factory if that's where you purchased it from. You would just go to your download area and go back to the post and the update is there. If you haven't purchased us, you need to do that first since this is an update.

I had to go into my mymmf library and it was added there to download since I had trex as a patreon member. Hope that helps :)

I do not have a way of sharing this since membership changes monthly and this is from a couple years ago. As long as you redeem your MMF link each month that I email, it will automatically save in your free MMF account. That is how the files are archived and stored for future use if you don't download them here from the platform. You can message me and I will give you more details or you can go to the pinned post underarchive and it explains it in detail.

You have to go back to the original Source you purchased it on. It will give you the update. If you received it as part of membership, then you would need to redeem your archival link which stores the files on MMF for free. This gives you the ability to get updates whenever I release them.

Please read the message above. I will also add that you may have to log out and back in again. I have two zip files in MMF, one with the update XXL and one with the original size. It could just be holding on to hold data but it should auto-populate.

total about 2days. I think the longest plate time is 13hrs. that's if you do single color though.

I am confused on the part where we take the original and scale it up and glue it back together. How come we can't just get the (precut) XXL version?

I sliced with various settings in bambu but ended up using .20 standard layers making it about 61 hours for 5 plates.

You do get the pre-cut files if you claim your MMF coupon every month. Look in MMF and it's on the same link as the old skeletal dinosaur

I have a cut version of the STL available which you can scale depending on your machine. And then I have the 3mf project file that I have associated with an x1c carbon. I'm not sure I fully understand your question because the original is print in place and doesn't need any gluing. This is just her folks who want to make it the max size on their build plate. I think the biggest I've seen is 490%!

I don't want to charge for just the xl model. If you received it as part of membership or our purchasing it, you get all of the versions and can choose which one you use :)

That fully depends on how large you choose to go. The biggest I've seen with the newer machines is $490%. I printed 350% on the x1c and that will be substantially shorter.

In the xxl folder, I have stl's that are cut and when you load them to the plate they will be 100% so you will have to scale them as large as whatever printer you have is capable of. I also have a 3mf file that already has them Associated to the plates for an x1c. You can use that if you have a machine with larger capabilities and just size them up. I believe 490% is the largest I've seen so far.

All you need to do is go to the archive links that you redeem each month. If you haven't done that since you joined and it's been a couple years since that file came out, just go to MMF which is my mini Factory, that is where I archive the files. You would start a free account using the email address that you use here. Once it's set up you can go back to your email and redeem just one of the links and then the rest of them will Auto redeem for however long you were a member. I'm putting the information on here so other people can read through and hopefully get help if there's any questions. But you can also email me at flexifactory@gmail.com or message me here and I will walk you through the steps. This is just an extra large cut version if you like to do big prints. Otherwise the original version works just fine.

Current subscriber. Love the XXL files. Would you ever consider separating the teeth, eyes, and claws? This way, the user could save time and filament by printing and gluing those separately. Honestly, that option would be fantastic for the regular-sized files as well. Thanks again, great files as usual.

I think the response to Keri gets us the original version of the t-rex, but i think Keri is asking (and so am I) if we can get the updated xxl version since we got the initial t-rex during the initial release when we were members? we aren't looking for that original file because we already have that.

Okay thank you for explaining that further. You absolutely get it as an update to the original file. All you need to do is make sure you redeem your archive links. If you've been doing that since you joined, then all of the files archive into a free MMF account. I have a little post about it in the pinned post or the collections tab under archive. It's a really cool feature for those that have been members for a while or intend to be members for a while. It gives you the ability to store your files on MMF server and always have access to them. And then when I make updates or improvements you get those automatically for free:-)

The head will not work the same because it has a feature that pops into that wall mount. But the wall mounted version should be very easily paintable. The head only has the teeth you should be able to do that with a couple clicks

This is not a new file but an update to a file from a couple years ago. There is no download here it's just information as to where to get to it if you already own the skeleton T-Rex from 2022.

The original came out a couple years ago. If you have redeemed the archive links and you remember at the time it came out then you would have it in your MMF Library for the update. Or if you purchased it on another site you would need to go there in order to get the update. But if you have never purchased it or received it as part of your membership then you would need to buy the original model in order to get the XXL cut version. This is the Tyrannosaurus rex that came out a little over 3 years ago. It's not included for the month but if you have purchased a file prior you can go back and get the update for free. The bone is included with the T-Rex. Each of the dinosaurs has an accessory. When you scale the designs always scale each part identically even the accessories like the bone and Stand

The settings I provide in the 3mf file are what I print with. You should always adjust your settings to your preferences depending on your materials and the quality that you want to print. Also depending on what size:-)

The bone is in the other zip. There is a regular and XL zip. Same bone :) Also the stand is in the regular zip.
