Dan I am printing your colored version I noticed that the purge tower is solid. Is there a way to change it. Bamboo x1 carbon printers. Everything else I print is a hollow tower Newbie here.

Phil Rolfe

Dang it! I have a new BIQU H2 Revo extruder arriving within hours. Print this or wait? Hmmmm. Wait I have two other printers.

Why do I always have to be at work whenever these are posted? Looks awesome, super excited!

Robert Button

Will be next print, you done an awesome job on this. I take my hat off to you.

eric barker

Please let us know how anycubic is going to use this. I’m using anycubic VYPER FDM printers. so Im curious.

Lee forster

looks amazing. On holiday so not got access to my printer but i do have my wifes laptop so this is getting downloaded ready to go when home

Jo

did you mean for 2 of the images to be 2000x2000 ? :) ... this will be great alongside the astronaut

Dan

yep. People aren't allowed to use my trademarked photos and most platforms require at least that size.

Allen Smith

Just wondering, with the AnyCubic logo on there, does that restrict our ability to offer for sale? I'm going to print it no matter, you did an awesome job!

Dan

Nope. You can still sell it, same as the Fokobot

Shannon Patterson

this is perfect just recieved my anycubic resin printer so he has a new perch

Old Joe

Kids will love it!

Brian Curtis

Setting up on my Vyper now. Awesome.

Mishelle Bookout

This is so happening in Glow in the Dark tonight.

John Austin

Carla Schrum

I do the same thing with parcel rolls

Carla Schrum

OMG!!! Love love this one its going to go well with the last one :)

Akaoni_Black

scaling him down to about 87% makes him a perfect buddy for our astronaought

Dan

TTYT3D rainbow fast changing.

Brad (RFD3D)

printing now in Glow-in-the-Dark filament by Overture Brand

Kathy Felker

Just started printing him on my S1 using YOUSU coextruded green and purple matte filament. 3.5 hours to go.

Jason Gruber

Just started painting with glow in the dark filament. Should be dope when it's done

Brian Mettlen

Is there any issue with selling this model, given you designed it for Anycubic?

Dusty Jones

This guy is awesome and gives me Grinch vibes! That would be awesome for Christmas

Dan

You can sell this print. This is a flexifactory model that was created to advertise Anycubics printer.

Mercedes Rucklos

Can the models be printed on a resin printer?

Dan

I have not tested it fully yet. I have had successful prints, but still new tot he resin game.

Dan

I got it standing, hahah!

Luke R

Missed printing this yesterday as was unwell.. first one is extruding now though =D. Also I like the way your logo is in the back of the head, I think you should do this, or make this an option for all of your models..

Zombie Saint

got any pics? sounds awesome

Pauline S Lenz

Printed and it has so many blobs using silk..

Clint Vail

that's an issue with your machine... not the model.

Christopher Carrico

Very cool, this is a great compliment to the astronaut! Unfortunately my printers hate this print when it's scaled down any, I've successfully printed 2 at 100% scale but only 1 of 4 at 75% as they come loose for me when doing the fingers. I'll have to add on a brim as much as I hate to as I don't like the edges after removing them.

gBeast

I was able to get solid prints at 75% by bumping up the temp to 65° on the heat bed and 215° the first few layers of the print. I also slowed the speed down to 20mm/sec for the first two layers. I used tri-color silk PLA that I couldn’t get to work on the Astronaut at anything less than full size (his face shield wouldn’t close), but it worked great for the alien at 75%.

Pauline S Lenz

I am aware that the print is fine, still working on my blobs using silk.

Dan

maybe try adjusting nozzle temp

Pauline S Lenz

I was at 210*, dropped to 200* and still have blobs, not as bad but they are haunting

gBeast

Check your retraction depth and speed settings.

Paul Gettings

any idea on what the smallest working print would be please ?

Pauline S Lenz

GBeast, I am not sure what they should be?

EvilInc6669

The only model that I have had a hard time printing in resin is the starfish. Haven't tried this one yet but the joints look very printable.

Sloan Artistry

I love this guy! We’ve been trying to print him on our vyper with the same filament, but the print doesn’t come out as clean as shown. Any tips?!

Dan Viveiros

I printed one and my wife says “eww the belly!” 😂

Raymond Plummer

How do you get him to stand? 3rd pic? Thanks Dan. :)

Dan

practice and patience. He is not really made to stand. Just happenchance.

Shannon Patterson

as a comerical patreon wondering if anycubic has a license on him? is he selllable by us?

Dan

He is licensed by Flexi Factory and can be resold as a print. Not modified though.

Shannon Patterson

ty would never alter prints as im not that artistic

Dan

It certainly isn't easy :)

Dan

My wife keeps telling me the same thing :) Good idea

Luke R

Been having the same issues with the feet, also made worse by my own choice to try a new PETG rather than my usual PLA+... just got myself a new PEI print bed and hoping to get some better results.
