Happy New Year everyone!!! I wanted to send out an update today regarding one of my most requested modifications. I get a ton of messages about turning the Flexis into keyrings. In the past I have allowed post printed holes to be added for lights and rings. With the amazing editing programs available, it is much easier to add them before the print. So...I will allow a hole or loop to be added to the model for hanging purposes or to be used as a topper or adding lights etc :) I will still be providing some of my models as bonus keychains and toppers, for those that do not wish to do it themselves. While I do think this will add value to your business, and make it more fun for hobby printers, please DO NOT modify or hinder the functionality or character design. Feel free to message me any questions or send photos to flexifactory@gmail.com. Happy Printing -Dan

If people make there own keychains is there any change they can send them to offer here? With your permission?

Dan

I am not sure I understand. Do you mind DM me and explain a little more? Or email at flexifactory@gmail.com. Thanks!

Nick Roos

Maybe i didn't understand it. But what i understood was that people are free to make keychains frim your design? And i was thinking is that if someone makes a keychain maybe you can make a post thats available for everyone. So people send de files to you and then you put it on Patreon.

Dan

Ok got it. So I prefer to make the keychains myself as bonuses and also be in control of the files. Since I do not allow modifications that alter the functionality or character design . Oftentimes, because I have to change the links and other parts substantially when they are made smaller. My original designs are not really made to scale down that little. However, I received so many requests to use the original designs as keychains, that I do allow loops or holes to be added.

Skeletonkey

Thank you... We love being able to do keychains with the prints.

Nick, maybe you should start your own channel or Patreon. Flex Factory should not take the heat for models that just may not be what is up to their standards. If one of their members alters other features of FF pieces and it turns out to be $hit, we do not want Dan to be left holding the bag. So, all great designers should just create their own storefront and not impose on those who are established with great reputations. Does that make sense?

Nick Roos

Lol... okay Karen.... uuuh Karyl

Maybe i need more coffee - but the image of the rules doesn't have an active hyperlink to fill out form for seller badge... FYI (where it says CLICK HERE)

Dan

This is an Old Post from a couple years ago. I have the seller authorization Link at the top of the page on the pinned post, or underneath the seller info in the collections tab at the top of the page.

Nice! Thanks Dan!!

Peter

Awesome. I was going to ask if we were allowed to do that.

Thanks Dan. I feel like the best info out of this is when you are questioning. Just ask

This is great, thank you! For those of us who are new, how would we go about adding the loop. I haven't done anything other than use the files as they are provided. ;) Thank you!

Shawn Springer

Thank you. Thank you for your hard work as well.
