Y'all...thanks to some garbage pla and a fan going out, this character took forever to print! After two failed attempts at about 90%, he finally made it through.

And if anyone wants to share their secretes of how to get Bambu to send out replacements for defective parts, I am all ears haha.

In the 3mf file you forgot to paint the tooth on the top right under his glasses

Dan

Haha yes, I noticed that too. It can easily be painted with the fill tool.

Raditive Prints

Haha no problem I painted it on my end just wasn't sure if you were aware

Nicole Turpin

Which fan went out? Removing the top cover and printing with the door open might be workarounds.

Ivan Teixeira

What was the issue you had with the bambu? Juste bought mine to finally print your filles, hope not get something not worth 1600€ :o

Fill out a support ticket. They were great to respond to me and I had a new part for my AMS in about a week and a half from initial support ticket.

Peppeni31

I submitted a ticket for my motherboard fan. It took a about a 24hr to get back to me. They took card of it.

KingAnt

That's why I didn't jump on the Bambu yet

hawthorne3d

You're missing out. Can confirm it's not perfect but it's miles ahead of anything else on the market right now.

pcwzrd13

I love the innovation that Bambu is bringing to the industry but I'm waiting it out to see what the competition brings or at least for a second-gen product. Inevitably multi-color printing will become much easier and more refined in the future. :-)

Thor

I have the board fan issue but it was due to the blades coming out slightly and throwing the axis off. Got it set back and no more issues. I did send a ticket in and got a $20 gift card to get a new fan and ordered it. On its way and a replacement for if it acts up again.

3D OG Creations

I contacted Bambu support through the Handy app. They responded within 24hrs, however, the Chinese New Year has delayed any shipping for about two weeks.

Vitaliy Bondarenko

What spare parts are you missing? Wanted to buy myself to stack it up

Dan

Honestly didn't notice until I got the final bambu print done. I made several in solid colors.

Kevin Porter

We will just have to agree to disagree on that 😊

Dan

Really it was mostly bad filament that snapped a couple times and also caused a back-up in the chute, kinda melted into the nozzle and stopped one print. And the MC Board Fan is malfunctioning. Just having to jump through quite a bit of hoops after having the machine for about a week. Overall it is still a fantastic machine and very easy to use and make great prints right out of the box.

Dan

Yep, that is exactly the issue.

Dan

Just an issue with the MC Board Fan.

Thor

They are super responsive for this and as I fixed the original the upgraded tab coming will be a replacement for if I need it lol. It’s supposed to correct the issues of the last one.

2026-09-06 23:00 Mine is on order for a week now. Looking forwards to the multi color and the speed increase over my Prusa's.

2026-09-06 23:00 Oh that's a FIVE color print, do you have two AMS's?

Nicole Turpin

That's crappy and not something one could really plan for with spare parts. Hope they can help you out. How did you notice it?

Dan

I do not. Painted the dots and glasses just for fun. The white didn't present well on the video. But I think Marzgizmo has two AMS's. #lifegoals , haha

Dan

It is great for solid prints. Fast and clean. Certainly helps with the test printing process.

I'm having a WIFI issue. My X1C has completely lost the ability to detect wifi networks. I submitted a support ticket a week ago and have heard nothing

Jack Apple Creations

No tips on how to get parts fast here. Been back and forth about my second X1C combo that doesn’t print as well as the first. Warped bed and constant cutter stuck/nozzle temp warnings. I expect a couple of weeks more of back and forth before they send parts. At least I have the first one which prints flawlessly.

KingAnt

I'm not jumping on bleeding edge anything right now. I'm not saying that it has to be perfect but I'll wait for the teething process to finish before I open the wallet.

Substratum_3D

I've heard a lot of people now talking about the lack of post sale support and available parts from Bamboo, which seems crazy to me seeing as to how the machines cost. What fan are you having issues with? Is it a propietary part?

jay jay

good luck... you have to send many videos and many pictures and answer a million questions and usually theres 2-3 days between responses lol

Andrew

I would just make a support ticket through the handy app. They sent me one right away after I mentioned a problem.

Dan

It was my third day printing and just started making a loud noise. Quick youtube research pointed to the Board Fan. Should have the replacement ordered shortly.

Nicole Turpin

Unfortunate. Any problems so far on my end were self inflicted, mainly from using wrong sized spools in the AMS.

Tim Biggs

Kinda silly for such a known issue that you have to send in videos and such, but I get that everyone would jump on the bandwagon of asking for free replacements without proof. On the plus side, they realized the problem and have started stock a better ball bearing fan. On the down side, they wont send you a fan, rather they will give you a $20 voucher to purchase a fan, when its in stock that is.

Tim Biggs

make sure you are only connecting to 2.5ghz and not 5ghz

Tim Biggs

Alot of people do not understand Chinese New Year and the delays that come with it, you'll read more complaints than praises on forums and fb groups no matter what the product it. There will be growing pains with any new company/product and the large influx of printer orders will also put a damper on parts inventory. Just about all the main parts were/are available when I ordered mine, and even the proprietary parts are not ridiculously priced. These were selling points on me making the decision to get one. As for the mc fan, there are alternatives using aftermarket fans out there, but for plug and play replacement youll have to order from Bambu.

Katsu's Dojo 3D

I love this, but I need a remix. It totally reminds me of Ben Stiller in Dodgeball! It just needs the ‘stache!

Dan

hahah. I didn't think of that.

Katsu's Dojo 3D

That’s literally ALL I see when I look at this…and I love it!

Shannon Hudick

Took me about 2 weeks from initial ticket after it only printed correctly for 2 weeks. I know it's a great starter for someone like me but it does suck that it's happening so soon. My problem is prints fail after more then 2 hours with clog/jams. They gave me a giftcard to order a new extruder instead of sending it out themselves hoping that it would speed up the process.

Shannon Hudick

I also bought clear PTFE tubing so that I could better see where issues are.

R

thats an interesting idea. How well does it work? voisibility/temperature resilience?
