UPDATE: First off...I do not recommend going 50%, 60% is better. Printed on the  Bambu in 3 colors, .16 layer height, took almost 12 hours.  - Joints are good- One of the pinwheels broke- There is definitely a loss of detail. And this was a hard print, with major color opposition. So there was some bleeding, not a ton though.  Overall impressed that it made it through with very little issues!

.........................................................................Hi all! My colored prints are still in the works and I will update them soon:)I have added:- STLs for each bear, the pinwheel spinner and handle. - 3mf 4 color for Bambu AMS- 3mf 2 color for Prusa multi-extruding machinesThere are a bunch of color options here with the 3 parts per bear...so I anticipate seeing a big variety from y'all. If you haven't see the photo post, here is the link to add photos.: https://albums.memento.com/flexifactoryphotosAnd of course, we have a spot on discord too!Happy Printing- Dan

Meeeegaaaaa. Love it. Bambu go online. Now

Deborah Ortiz

Am I not seeing your "Trademark" FF on the Teddy Bears? You work hard on your designs...I love to see that FF on your items when I print them. Great design.

Millie Taylor

How big is too big for the pinwheel?

Dan

As big as your print bed. It does get heavy though

Luis N

They are very cute. Thank you.

Debra

NICE I LOVE THEM!

Chris Felix

24 hours to print 4 colors on my X1c at .16mm. Picture uploaded to the memento link

Crystal Hohman

so the pinwheel comes out in 2 pieces?

Chris Felix

Yes the stem and the wheel snap together

Chris Morrison

Has anyone else been having issues with the handle? The 2 prong pieces keep snapping off with the slightest touch. I have gone as high as 70% infill to add some strength.

Greeneyes

Got my new Bambu x1C yesterday, so cannot wait to do this file… x

Sheree Lyons

I didn't have any problems with the handle on the ones that I just did, and I left all settings the same, just scaled it down to 80% with PLA silk filament

Rol Dog

I have only done 2 so far with no problem as far as I can tell. They snapped in and held fine. I printed the regular sized bears with 20% infill. I print 1 bear and 1 pinwheel per machine.

Chris Morrison

Guess I need to check what I got going on with my settings maybe

Jason P English

finished the boy now printing the girl love it

Carla Schrum

BUT!!!! I failed to take photos so I am reprinting all 3 sets again will take photos

Mike Sprague

Could we maybe get a few more options for things the bears can hold??? They do have 2 hands 😁... Here's a few ideas: balloon, pennant/flag, cotton candy or lollipop.

Paige's Purlieu

I second the cotton candy and lollipop!!

matt headrick

We've been having the same issue with the few we've printed.

Dan

I am working on a flower that is utilized like the spinner as a bonus. Lots of accessories...but I am only one guy, hahaha. Working as fast as I can :)

Dan

Oh, I also saw several photos with real lollipops and that could be a huge selling incentive. Great for display

Blair Oyler

the pin wheel A++++++++++

George White

I am new to patreon. Where are the Download file?

Dan

Hello and welcome. The bears are here in this post...but also check the post feed. There is a folder with all the files for April :)

D.M. Rod Co.

has anyone been able to print a working pinwheel ? I cannot

Chari Malek

Can anybody give some insight to a dual extruder? I just do this for fun but I'm really thinking about a dual extruder. Pros? Cons?? Inexpensive hobbiest printer?

Innovate3D

Yes, had no issue with stock settings on the Bambu X1

Dan

From a design perspective, I would say my biggest con is that the files have to be created to be separated. I don't personally design that way because it is time intensive. You have to have multiple files and layer them, one for each color. But I suspect there are machines and slicers that can make it easier to paint. You might also get a better response on the discord chat:)

Anna Fechner

bears keep detaching from the bed, managed to print 2 out of 6, pinwheel is adorable.

Dan

The arms and legs have a smaller footprint. Just make sure your plate is clean. I use soap and water, then alcohol, and a purple glue stick if I really have adhesion issues. And some pla is better than others.

Robert Real

I have a SOVOL Sv04 index printer and it's decent printer. I use it with prusa slicer so that I can paint the prints instead of trying to split them apart

Jarrod McKnelly

Mine are working well on my ender 3 max. Totally not stock tho. 😂 Both 100% and 70%

Pat Caton

I made one as soon as this lil guy was release! It printed perfectly as usual.

Dan

I am sorry to hear that! I print with .12 or .16 layer height, no supports, 3 walls and 15% infill. I have noticed some terrible filaments lately really stringing. But you can send photos to flexifactory@gmail.com and i can help troubleshoot :)

Steve Caywood

I also have an SV04, and once you get the 2 extruders calibrated, it does a pretty good job. PrusaSlicer also has a feature that will try to split your model into different parts/object for easier painting.

Lenka Tomková

Where can I find teddybear files, please? :)

Dan

These are available with the 40% off discount as older public models

Hola. El castor (beaver) no consigo imprimirlo, incluso el PLA negro derrete. Tengo una Anycubic Kobra 3 combo.
