Hi folks,After releasing my hanging Sloth about a year and a half ago, I've gotten numerous requests for a hanging Panda.However, as I was getting ready to work on it, I found that 2 other designers had copied my sloths joints and created Pandas...ugh.I'm not naïve, I know that whenever I create a new mechanic, it will be stolen. But this caused me to put the panda idea aside for a while.Fast forward to an exciting e-mail Last month, Bambu Lab reached out and asked if I would create a bamboo lovin' Panda for them.

FYI, I have been approached by multiple companies about promoting their brands, but for me it eats away at my soul to promote something that I don't believe in.  Bambu Lab, I love your printers...YES!So I said "screw it" I'll just have to make the most adorable panda ever! (hope you agree) I'm not done with it, Like the sloth, the panda is going to need something to hang on to, and I have something pretty awesome in mind, so stay tuned.-Dan

That sloth was my very first 3D print. I made a whole little family and they sit with their tree on my desk every day. The pot was just amazing and can't wait to see how you blow our minds with this 🐼

I have a wire shelf above my 2 X1C’s that I store my AMS’ on and now I plan to have a Bambu Panda hanging out right above each of them. Awesome work my friend. Thanks for what you do.

This is awesome I just got my first bambu printer last week and it is amazing. I love my older printers for the learning I have had but thus takes printing to a entire new fun level. I am so happy to see your design. I've seen the others and like your styling better so I can wait!!!

Looks great! I noticed Printverse on Cults3d having many models that are the same animal or the same joints/features as yours so I wondered if something was up. Hate that your work is being copied so closely because it’s great!

This is awesome, I am a cartoon finatic and I have a soft spot for the panda. I have seen bootleg offerings of your work on Printables as well. I could not bring myself to print it so I went to MMF and bought your sloth instead. I felt better immediately. Printing the Sloth planter right now. Waiting on the colors to print the flexi sloth. Patiently waiting is an understatement.

I need to grab a Prusa multi-color machine at some point. Curious about the differences and I know lots of folks love them too. I just couldn't resist the Bambu after seeing other 3d printers using them. My wife is happy because she doesn't have to buy me a birthday, anniversary or Christmas present hahaha.

Hey just wondering is there any way you could make a file where all of the color components are in pieces for non multicolored printers ?

The panda will not be in pieces, because it is print-in-place with no supports. But the Tree accessory will be and can be colored with a layer change :) Plug pieces like the owl does not work with every model. The links to be flexi have to print in a specific way to avoid supports.

"water-mark" the internal structure of what you make. It is so much harder to remove internal WM than to remove the "FF" on the foot. I personally like non-branded prints but it would be so much harder to remove internal ones...

What are your AMS flush rates from white and black? I seem to always get a lot of bleed into the white.

I haven't tried. I did design the panda hand differently though.

I use the auto calculate feature each time I print a model. It should help eliminate any bleed.

You shouldn't need to remove the internal one. It only shows when you paint it. But I provided a non-branded version to members of the panda. The one the public downloads will have Flex Factory and Bambu Lab.

nooo, I was saying if people want to keep ripping off your hard work, make an internal watermark (where the infill goes). That way if it looks like others are doing it, you have more info on who's doing it. They say copying is the best form of flattery..

I won't have the files in makerworld unfortunately, because they are not free. there is a cost to download. But on MMF or Cults, I do intend to add the colored files as time allows.
