Flexi Factory Skeleton Foot : Included for September, October and November 2023 members Only! Then 40% off for new members!BONUS Keychain DOWNLOAD is HERE!!! https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-files-here-88548096...........................................................................Thought it was time to add a new body part to the skeleton collection for all you Halloween enthusiasts :) AND, hopefully early enough in the week to print up a bunch for weekend shows!!!I went ahead and included a right and left version for those that are unclear about mirroring a design. This is a simple print to make multi-color on one machine, swapping out filaments on the layers. So, I won't be adding the 3mf file... but it is designed for easy coloring in Bambu and Prusa slicers. - There is a LARGE version for printing as big as you can fit on the bed. - And a SMALL version of the foot and keychain for successfully printing the tiny bones and links. - Recommended settings are: 15% infill, 3 walls, .12 layer height, no supports

Going to provide links for the amazing colors in the photos above. I had alot of fun playing around with the color combinations:

* 150% foot in the main image: Flashforge Burnt Titanium Amolen Transparent Blue/Purpleand OVV3D Red/Blue/Green * Keychain Foot: Isanmate Yellow/Green * 3rd photo are 100% and 120% (in the back). I printed in tan and stained. this looks amazing and more photos to come when it goes to the public. The front foot is primarily Print bed Sour Apple and FilaCube Leather Brown I am so excited to see your spooky photos. My wife has claimed one of the printers in preparation of a VERY elaborate outdoor decoration for the holiday. We have 3 October birthdays in this household...so Halloween is a VERY big deal. Happy Printing - Dan

Is there a hand? I've been looking but can't find.

Todd Sipala

So real! I just got a spool of Sour Apple. Haven’t opened it yet

Dan

It's a great color. I use it often!

David Wettlaufer

How about making a pencil topper out of this as well

Sarah Cooper

I have that one. I don't think it has a keychain or pencil topper. Which is what I'm hoping for.

Dan

Gonna be honest. I tried and it was weird. Due to the ankle area.

ProtoSpyre LLC

Thank you! Love all the models! Next should be an eye ball 👁️ 😆

Todd Sipala

I have their subscription too.

IcySky121

At lease he handed us a skeleton lol. ( bad pun on skeleton hand)

Dan

I did make an eyeball.

Dan

There is a keychain and pencil topper of the skeleton hand in the bonus files post. And the regular hand too.

The Ravens Soul

Oooh one day maybe we could have all the boney parts like this and then we could link them to make a whole hooman bean 😊

Don Fief (aka SwagDad)

What if you made adapters so that the hands and feet could be used on the XXL Skeleton? Like, made shins up to where the XXL Skeleton legs hooked to the knees, and arms up to where it hooks to the elbows? That way I could make an ARTICULATED XXL Skeleton!

Dan

I have been dabbling with it for awhile. I am wanting to make it more plug and play, but also keep the bone shape and the ease of printing. More noodeling needed :)

Doug McBride

I would love to see a whole skeleton, it would be epic!!!

Lake's Crafty Designs

I’m finding small holes in the toes, on the left and right keychains. So you only get the holes when you print at 100% to 50%.

Doug McBride

I own both, would love to see one like the hands and feet

Dan

3 walls, .12 or .16 layer height and 15% infill?

Lake's Crafty Designs

Yep did all that and still getting small little holes after slicing

Dan

Could you send photos to flexifactory@gmail.com please and I can help troubleshoot? Definitely not holes in the design.

Landon Sherman

Do you recall appr how long and how much filament the XXL one was?

Jason

Just thought of a awesome fun challenging print, a hydra. You could have the heads be flexible but stiff so you can pose them in different directions. Plus the tail can move since its snake like. Perhaps make it look a little like King Ghidorah from Godzilla. I don't see any articulating hydra prints when you search for them on myminfactory.

MATT CURRIER

Are you bringing back the large skeleton for sale this year?

matt orr

Flexi Bats!!

Dan

The XXL skeleton is always available as a charity print :) Under Flexis for A Cause

Did you try doing the ankle at an angle? So the foot would be almost fully extended, what I'm picturing, is if you laid the foot flat the pencil would stick out at approximately a 135º angle.

Paige's Purlieu

It's just a thought you know, like a ballerina's foot comes to mind because they are able to extend their feet so flat, it might help to use that as inspiration.

Paige's Purlieu

ooooo I just googled ballerina feet x-ray, only their heel sticks out other than that the rest of the foot is almost a complete 180º, you could honestly flip the entire foot upside down potentially and have the pencil topper print starting at the top of the foot. Probably more work than it's worth but 🤷🏼‍♀️ I bet it would look amazing.

Taylor

I can't remember - do we get these included with Patreon? Or still have to buy them from MMF?

Paige's Purlieu

when did the update files get posted and what are the differences?

Dan

See above. Had a power outage, but everything is up and updated :)

Dan

Just finished it now.

Paige's Purlieu

I'm assuming my replies to the earlier discussion of the pencil toppers were missed but just out of curiosity, what way did you try to make them? If it wasn't a full ballerina "en pointe" I'd like to throw that into the suggestion pool!! I looked up the X-rays and I feel like you could print the pencil topper foot as if the top of the foot/shin is lying on the print bed and the heel is the part that raises. I don't know if it would work but I wanted to at least make the suggestion! 😊

Chris Gilroy

This may be a silly question, but is the main image (flip flop one) painted?

Grady Breece

I seen the SteamPunk cat that looks like the same color. I have this question too, Is the one in the flip flop painted?

Grady Breece

* 3rd photo are 100% and 120% (in the back). I printed in tan and stained. this looks amazing and more photos to come when it goes to the public. The front foot is primarily Print bed Sour Apple and FilaCube Leather Brown

MatrixTek

I put a UPS on everything. It gives me a bit of time at least if I'm around. But my generator won't charge my UPS's. Frustrating at best...

Dustie Chase

he stated in the release there was an issue with the first one this one fixes the issue

Dan

Yes, thank you for the suggestion.

Dan

It is a brown pla and stained with Java gel stain. Kind of a rub and buff method.

Dan

Yes, this was just a small update

Trevor Kennedy

I love all the new bonified things! Perfect for Halloween.

RI

Hi - wondering if you still have the skeleton arms available? ( mainly I joined based on the YouTube video here that said they got the STL of the arm from you? ( but then realized it was 11 months old :( https://youtu.be/NrLwACSa5p0?si=ph6Gn17ywxZifqNN

Dan

Yes I sure do. All of my older designs that were released to the public are available to members with the 40% discount. The only files you cannot get are the past Exclusives, because are limited. Here is the 40% off link: https://www.patreon.com/collection/18214

Funny story regarding your models... Printed some skeleton hands and feet for a friend to use in her Halloween yard decor. Shipped them via USPS. The package was impounded, and they sent me a document asking me to prove what was inside the box. I called and gave permission for them to open it and look. They didn't tell me what they suspected was inside, but considering it was a box of skeletal hands and feet, I can only guess the x-ray was a bit odd. Surprised they couldn't tell the difference between plastic and actual bone though.

K-doug Playz

Where is the keychain version?

Dan

The keychain is a bonus and here in the post above. You may need to login on a computer to see the files.

Dan

Wow! That is funny! Hope your package made it where it was going.
